FAQ’s

Why are your pickles so good?

It’s simple. Each Van Holten’s flavor is crafted with a team of pickle-lovers behind it. From start to finish, our team makes sure that each pouch is full of crunchy, flavorful goodness. If we wouldn’t eat it, why should you?!

Oh yeah, and because we were the first to ever do it. We’ve perfected the art of pickling and pouching cucumbers since 1939.

Are your pickles Gluten Free/Kosher/Fat Free?

What is Pickle-Ice and Pickleback Mixer?

Pickle-Ice is Van Holten’s famous Dill Pickle brine with added electrolytes in a popsicle! The salt from the brine and the added electrolytes aid in rehydration. Pickle-Ice is popular among athletes, children and anyone who likes pickles.

Pickleback Mixer is Van Holten’s famous Dill Pickle brine, sold in a 1-Liter bottle. This product is used as a shot chaser, Bloody Mary booster, marinade, sauce base and more. The only difference from this brine and the brine in the Pickle-In-A-Pouch is that this batch never touches a cucumber! This is a non-alcoholic product.
